E Is For Executive

Rainbow Designs might not be the store that comes to mind when you are thinking executive gifts, but don't let the name fool you.  We love to give the executive treatment and receive it too on the odd occasion.  I mean, who doesn't?

The best place to start when viewing our executive gifts would be under what we love to refer to as TGH (traditional gift hampers).  And there is quite a mix of them to view.

Our Executive Gift Hamper (pictured above) is a mix of style and decadence which our executive types love to receive.  The gift includes your choice of Pinot Noir or Sauvignon Blanc, hot 'n spicy peanuts, organic Anzacs, orange chocolate, chocolate coated fruit, rosemary lavvash, traditional plum pudding and chili and lime Soya Stixs.

We think that our Maggie Beer Gift Hamper would be great for those executives who love to wine and dine.  The gift, as the name suggests, features all Maggie Beer products, namely verjuice, extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, cabernet paste, quince paste, sparkling ruby Cabernet, kalamata olives and sauce.

Our Wine and Treats Gift Hamper is also extremely popular among the executive set, no surprise there!  It features wine of your choice, rosemary lavash, beetroot relish, a chocolate assortment, rum balls, quince paste and plums in port.  Definitely a handful of the finer things in life.

Or perhaps our Scotch On The Rocks would be more in keeping with their executive lifestyle?  This decadent gift features a 700ml bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Whiskey, milk chocolates, stainless steel ice bucket and stainless steel ice tongs.

What do you think?  Surprised?  Many are!  So if you are looking for some executive style gifts in amongst our staple gifts of lollies or chocolates, then you might just find what you are seeking here. Happy browsing!

It's Christmas Carol Time

With only two weeks to go until Christmas, I can say without a doubt that the Christmas carol season has started. Wherever you go at this time of year it is inevitable that some store will have the carols playing. And for most towns, the official caroling season has started with "Carols By Candlelight" being held in the majority of towns around Australia.

I certainly don't mind Christmas carols as it is a great way to really get into the festive season and share in the spirit of Christmas.

What is your favourite Christmas carol? Some like the more traditional carols while others opt for the more up-tempo pop versions. CD sales for Michael Buble, Kelly Clarkson and Susan Boyle soar as people are snapping up the albums to impress friends and family.

December is such an enjoyable month especially with the Christmas parties and gift giving involved. We love being part of Christmas as we get to share in the Christmas spirit when we send our delicious gifts all over Australia. Our large Rudolph Gift Box has been sent to Darwin, Hobart and everywhere in between it seems.

Don't forget that we will be closed from Tuesday 17 December until 6 January 2014 so make sure you get your order in before then.

And while many of our gifts have sold out due to their popularity, we still have quite a variety on offer. Choose from a Christmas Lolly Jar for the kids or a Moet Christmas Hamper for mum and dad. And needless to say the Rocky Road Christmas Tin has been snapped up like there has been no tomorrow - what great taste you all seem to have. Yum - rocky road!!

We hope you are making the most of the silliness and fun that December allows and we wish you a delicious and magical Christmas.

7 Weeks Until Christmas

Alright...I said it...don't shoot the messenger!

Christmas is not that far away (sorry!) particularly when you take into account that last orders will be taken 17 December 2013 and even earlier for corporate orders, 11 December 2013 which is essentially only 5 weeks away.

But I would like to add that many of you are already very organised when it comes to your Christmas shopping.  Corporate orders are starting to come in and we have had a number of enquiries from expats abroad asking about sending gifts to their loved ones back in Australia.

Way to go - I am very impressed as I know I am behind in my personal Christmas shopping - so hats off to you!  I also know that my friends and family love receiving gifts from Rainbow Designs so that always makes shopping a little bit easier especially when I often leave things to the last minute.

Are you the same?  Do you tend to be a last minute shopper or are you a person who is very organised and stockpiles gifts throughout the year?  We are all very different when it comes to our shopping habits but one thing we all have in common is that we want to ensure that our gifts reach our loved ones safe and sound and give them as much enjoyment as possible.
