You can never tire from one our gifts, especially with the variety that we offer. And of course, you can't go past the fact that our hampers are stunning to look at and even more delicious to eat (or drink!)

Memories Of Those Near and Dear
Do you have a favourite memory of you and your dad? With Father's Day just around the corner, it is nice to reminisce about the good 'ol days.
Michelle Tupy, a writer and dear friend of mine, wrote this about her dad many years ago. It resonated with me then, as it still does now.
"As a young girl, I remember the excitement felt whenever I had the chance to spend time with my father on the farm. Whilst he was probably not doing anything more than just going about his regular duties, being with him was what mattered most to me. I can remember my father whistling commands to the dogs as they corralled the sheep into the pens. I held tightly onto his rough and calloused hands as we crossed the paddock to close the gate behind the last of the sheep.
I watched with wide-eyed fascination as my dad wrestled sheep after sheep to get them into just the right position for shearing. I remember the sweat pouring down his forehead as he worked tirelessly shearing one sheep after another pausing occasionally to have a drink of water and give me a smile.
Later we would go back to the house in our old battered ute. I rode in the front, feeling like a princess, with my dad next to me and the dogs barking in the back."
It wasn't a particularly special moment. As a country girl growing up in New South Wales back in the late 70s and 80s, riding around in the ute was probably a daily, if not a weekly, occurrence. But the thing that struck me the most was the fact that such a simple moment could be captured and frozen in time.
We all have those special moments - with our dads, our mums, our siblings, or our friends, and we hold onto them for as long as we can. It is those moments that get us through the tough times. It is those moments that we hold close to our chests as we lie in our beds willing sleep to come. It is those moments we escape to when we are tired, stressed or angry.
They are the moments that we live for; they are the moments that make life worth living.
Do you have a special memory that makes your heart sing?

Father's Day is Sunday 6 September 2015
Father's Day is one of those events that sneaks up on us every year. While we may have dad constantly in our heart, sometimes we struggle to order the gifts on time because... well... life just gets in the way.
At Rainbow Designs, we have a great range of lolly gifts and hampers to please the fussiest of dads and here are some of our favourites.
Big Chocolate Box: $43
A very impressive kilo sized chocolate box presented in a fabulous, reusable keepsake tin.
Lollies include, but are not limited to, M&Ms, freckles, clinkers, chocolate bullets, caramel buds, milk buds, cobbers, fantas, jaffas and smarties.
Yum, yum and yum!
Boutique Beer and Savoury Snacks Gift Hamper: $130
Craft beer is all the rage at the moment and for good reason, we think this beer and savoury snacks hamper will go down very well.
You even get a beer glass and coasters - what more could dad want?
Snacks include pretzels, corn chips, nuts and salsa.
Nuts About Sweets Gift Hamper: $60
This one has it all. Nuts, fudge, chocolate covered macadamia and three noodle boxes filled with lollies.
If you want to share this one with dad, best be there when it arrives because the contents won't last long.
Big Lolly Box: $43
Equally as popular as our Big Chocolate Box, our Big Lolly Box is a popular choice for dad.
Presented in a reusable tin, lollies include jellybabies, snakes, raspberries, race cars, pineapple, milk bottles, strawberry & creams, chicos, jellybeans, red frogs, bananas, sherbies, redskins, milko chews, minties, gummi bears and licorice allsorts.
And if that's not enough, postage is included in the price of all hampers and lolly gifts, making shopping as simple as possible.
If you do decide to order one of our fantastic hampers (marked TGH - which stands for traditional gift hamper), we do recommend you order using Express Post to guarantee its arrival before Father's Day.
I know from your gift orders that many of you are super organised, and here I am still trying to work out my father's day plans,
What will you be getting up to on Father's Day?

Happy Father's Day
Happy Father's Day to all the Australian blokes out there who just happen to be a dad as well. We know that being a dad is not easy and today is your day to let us show you how much we appreciate all the wonderful things you do for us.
Dads - have you ever given a thought to what your child would say about you when you are not in the room. Here is a little clip I found in which a bunch of kids share their points of view on their dad - he may sing badly, his jokes may be terrible but it seems he is loved, a lot.
So whatever your plans are today - we hope you enjoy your special day. And we hope that it involves a little (or a lot) of chocolate to ensure your day is even sweeter.
So from Rainbow Designs to you - Happy Father's Day.

Seven Deadly Sins
Our Seven Deadly Sins gift box is one of the new kids on the block in terms of our gifts; but let's be clear about this - we aren't selling a mixed box of wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy and gluttony. Our Seven Deadly Sins gift box refers to seven individual round containers, each filled with lollies or chocolates of your choice. While our boxes may create a little bit of pride or envy, we like to think that overall they create feelings of happiness, well-being and a willingness to share with loved ones if necessary.
Choose your 7 selections from 31 delicious choices - what will you choose; that's always the hardest part in my opinion. Gummi Bears, Chicos, Freckles, Jaffas, Raspberries, Smarties, F1 Race Cars...just a few of our delicious options.
If dad has a sweet tooth then this might be a good choice for him for Father's Day. He can choose a box for each day of the week as a treat after work, or save them all for a weekend celebration to accompany his favourite ale or beer.
I like the fact that our chocolate and lolly gifts are a little bit naughty and a lot nice, don't you?
If you specifically like to pick your own mix we have a variety of gifts under this category. In addition to the Seven Deadly Sins Gift Hamper mentioned above, we also carry a 1kg or a half kilo mix of lollies and chocolates in a reusable gift box, as well as a Cravings Overdrive mix (1.8kg) presented in a reusable pink Sweetie Tin (pictured above).
Choose the size of the gift you want, pick your favourites and order. As easy as 1, 2 and 3.

Dear Dad
Only a dad but he gives his all,
To smooth the way for his children small,
Doing with courage stern and grim,
The deeds that his father did for him.
This is the line that for him I pen:
Only a dad, but the best of men.
This is the last verse of the poem "Only A Dad" by Edgar Guest. Only a dad he may be but dads can do so much for us no matter how old we are.
Father's Day is coming up for those located in Australia - Sunday 7 September to be exact. We have some great gifts that he will adore, not as much as you obviously, but almost!
Big Lolly Gift Box
If your dad has a sweet tooth, 1kg of our mouthwatering lollies may just do the trick. The noodle box is chock full of Allens jellybabies, snakes, raspberries, F1 race cars, pineapples, milk bottles, strawberry & creams, chicos, jellybeans, red frogs, green frogs, bananas, sherbies and more. Surely the big man deserves a big lolly box?
Boutique Beer and Savoury Snacks
Dad will love this boutique beer gift comprising of 12 craft beers, salsa, corn chips, peanuts and beer nuts. Make sure you schedule your arrival to tie in with the arrival of this gift so he can share at least one of the beers with you.
Big Chocolate Box
Or if chocolate is more his style, how about our 1kg chocolate box. You definitely can't stop at one with this box and he just might deny that this gift ever arrived, if it means he has to share. M&Ms, chocolate freckles, clinkers, chocolate bullets, chocolate buds, white chocolate freckles, Allens Cobbers, Allens Fantales and Allens Jaffas. Yes please!
Have a browse through the other gifts on our site as we also have licorice, fudge and even ales on offer - something to suit every dad, particularly chosen to make his day super memorable.
We recommend not leaving your shopping to the last minute as we certainly wouldn't want to see dad miss out. Here's to your dad - Happy Father's Day to you all!

Father's Day is fast approaching!
Another year is flying by, don't they all?? I can't quite believe that Father's Day is only 2 weeks away - I'm sure we just finished Easter!! Sometimes I can't keep up with the speed of the weeks and other times I wish the days would go faster (weekend anyone??)!
Take care and don't forget to eat some lollies,
Jacqui
We've got a fabulous variety of gifts this year at Rainbow Designs with 'dad' in mind - think licorice, beer, big box of chocolates (all for him!), more beer and even lager and cider if he is that way inclined!
Our yummy range of gifts from Port Macquarie can be ordered up until Wednesday 28 August to ensure delivery is made before Sunday, 1 September and our gorgeous gift hampers from Brisbane and Melbourne need to be ordered by Monday 26 August - the earlier the better really!
Remember, deliveries are not made on the weekend so all orders will be delivered the week leading up to Father's Day - it's up to your dad whether he has the will power or not to not open it until Sunday!
Gifts start at $19...............so there is NO reason to not send your dad something! He deserves it! Just quietly, I think my dear old dad will be getting boring old socks (he can have all the chocolates he wants just about anytime he wants with me close by!) but don't do that to your poor old dad!!! :-)Take care and don't forget to eat some lollies,
Jacqui
