Well things are starting to get a little busier and our elves are packing up the gifts in preparation for the Christmas orders. I love this time of year!

So what's been popular this month?

Well it's hardly a surprise is it. Our one kilo box of chocolates is popular with all age groups - and no, you don't have to share if you don't want to! Contents vary but generally include M&M's, Freckles, Clinkers, chocolate bullets, chocolate buds, Cobbers, Fantales, Turkish delight, Jaffas and Smarties.

Little Sweetie Gift Hamper - $50 including delivery

This one kilo gift hamper includes five different kinds of lollies to tempt and delight. It is delivered in fabulous and fun packaging with a personalised gift tag if necessary. No wonder this has been popular!

Nibbles For Everyone - $50 including delivery

You guys definitely have great taste. This hamper includes a chocolate assortment, savoury bites, pretzels, grissini, shortbread and chocolate mint leaves. What a treat!

Medium Sweet Tooth Gift Box - $29 including delivery

This little gift is one of my favourites. It holds half a kilo of mixed lollies and chocolates to enjoy and share. The chocolate and lolly assortment includes Smarties, Jelly Babies, Snakes, Raspberries, Musk Sticks, Chicos, Frogs and Peanut Clusters. Our Just Lollies selection comes a very close second.

A number of our recipients have been very fortunate to have received this fantastic Bon Appetit Gift Hamper. It includes an assortment of products that will look great in any kitchen. Bring On The Wine

If you are looking for a gift for that special someone, you might want to consider a hamper with wine. Wine is great as a thank you gift, a get well gift, a housewarming gift, a congratulatory gift or a corporate gift. It can be given on birthdays, anniversaries, or even just because you feel like it. And when wine is paired with a delicious array of goodies such as soldier cake, pretzels or popcorn, then even better.

On days like today, (it is Friday after all!) wine is even more welcome to help you transition from weekday to weekend. Whether you are partial to a drop of white or red, wine can put a smile on someone’s face and show them how much you care.

Reasons people send gifts

During the last 9 years we've sent out a lot of gifts for birthdays, probably one of the most common reasons for people sending a gift actually! I think that it's great that we can help people with their gift giving needs and love the fact that with the internet it makes it so much easier and faster! Quite a few of our gifts are 'oh no I forgot such and suchs birthday' I need it delivered FAST, please please please. We do everything we can but there are times when it is just impossible for us to deliver on the date requested, especially when it is needed the same day but it's going to Perth - just can't do it. In these instances we let our customer know that we are unable to deliver on their requested and do suggest that if they require same day delivery to look for a business that is on the same area or even to try a florist. Florists are generally all linked by larger companies (such as Interflora) so use local businesses to do the order requests. Wouldn't it be great if Rainbow Designs had little shops scattered all over Australia!!



Another popular reason for people sending a gift is to say 'sorry' - whether it be for saying something not very nice, for forgetting a special day or for not ringing more often. A little box of chocolates is a great way to say sorry and I'm pretty sure you'll be forgive for whatever it is you did!

 



Anniversaries have been celebrated a lot with a big box of lollies - from 3 month anniversaries right up to golden and everything in between. It could also be the anniversary of buying a house or getting a job - so many special dates to remember and celebrate!



Main events such as Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day and Christmas can always guarantee a flurry of orders - generally last minute! It can have me worried at times thinking what terrible sales we've had but them low and behold in they all come, with only moments to spare. Sometimes I do wish people were a bit more organised :-)
